Subhro Kamal Mukherjee appointed New Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court

Justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee Appointed as Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court. In exercise of the powers conferred by article 223 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee, senior-most Judge of the Karnataka High Court, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from the date Shri Justice Dhirendra Hiralal Waghela relinquishes charge of the office of the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court consequent upon his transfer as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court vide Notification No.K-11017/06/2015-US.II dated 11th April, 2015.
