Jagmohan Dalmiya passes away

BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya passed away in Kolkata on Sunday following a massive cardiac arrest. Dalmiya was admitted to a Kolkata hospital a few days back after he complained of chest pain. He was 75-years old. Dalmiya had not been keeping well of late and had not been taking part actively in the day-to-day functioning of the BCCI.
Dalmiya took over the reins of the cricket board for a second time in March, after a gap of 10 years when he got a walkover in the elections. But he has been ailing since then. President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have condoled his death.
