PM Narendra Modi on Sunday arrived at San Jose in Silicon Valley with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship as he became the first Indian premier to visit the world's leading tech hub. PM Modi was greeted by enthusiastic crowds at the airport waving the tricolour and with chants of Modi Modi. A huge crowd of Indian community had gathered at the airport and the prime minister did not disappoint them. He went to the crowd, spoke with them and shook hands with them.
From airport, Prime Minister reached the hotel where another large crowd of Indian community was waiting to greet him. The Prime Minister met various groups of Indian community at the hotel. PM Modi also interacted with members of Sikh and Gujarati communities. Later, PM visited the Tesla Motors office in Palo Alto, California. He was welcomed by Elon Musk, CEO Tesla. PM Modi also met Apple CEO Tim Cook. PM also met CEOs of Microsoft, Google, CISCO, Qualcomm and Adobe. The SAP centre will host Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he addresses nearly 18,000 Indians in a throwback to New York's Madison Square Garden.
