Delhi Jan Lokpal bill, which is one of the core agenda of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was cleared by the Delhi cabinet on Wednesday and it is expected to be tabled in the assembly next week. Jan Lokpal, also known as Citizen Ombudsman bill was initially tabled by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal during his first stint in the government. However, since he lacked majority, the bill was disapproved and subsequently Kejriwal resigned drawing unprecedented flak.
