Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar is on 4-day visit to which country in March 2017?
A. Japan
B. UK
C. USA
D. France
Answer: C
Explanation: Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar has arrived in United States on a four day visit on 1st March 2017.  On the top of his agenda would be conveying India's concerns over a possible clampdown on H1B visas and safety of Indian nationals living in the United Sates.  During his four-day visit to the US Dr. Jaishankar, would also be holding talks on regional and international issues of mutual interest with senior members. This visit of the foreign secretary is taking place barely days after the killing of an Indian engineer in a bar in Kansas City in an apparent hate crime incident so it's natural India would strongly raise the issue of safety of its nationals during the discussions.  India is also concerned about possible adverse impact of the tightening of immigration policies of the Trump Administration. . Check Detail Explanation at INDIA GK" App: tinyurl.com/IndiaGK
